“When you know your ‘why,’ you can weather any ‘how.’” —Viktor E. Frankl.
The ‘why’ in how you run your marina is unique to you.
And for many family-run marinas, the ‘how’ of growing their business is too.
For the previous owner of North Point Marina and his family, boating on Lake Belton in Temple, Texas, and being a marina member was part of their life long before they became the owners of North Point Marina.
The family already knew ‘why’ the marina was so important in the community.
And as owners, they successfully balanced its financial performance while staying true to their values of providing excellent service.
Thus, artfully mastering the ‘how.’
When the time came, they looked for a long-term option that would continue the marina’s “welcome home” atmosphere, but in someone else’s hands.
“When I decided to sell, I was excited to find a company like TopSide Marinas. I quickly learned that we are very like-minded, and our values and beliefs aligned. The Brashear family has always wanted to make a positive impact on the community, and we believe that TopSide Marinas will help continue that legacy,” says Brashear, who remains a marina member.
What’s your ‘why’ that keeps you figuring out all the ‘hows’?
For us at TopSide Marinas, it‘s believing that time on the water is medicine for our lives—it lets us unplug with less noise, fewer voices, and less stimulation.
